Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

 

Chris unfortunately had to work this year so my mom, Marcus and I went up and down the very same street I grew up on and spent my childhood trick or treating. Marcus was tired and teething and absolutely refused to walk so we only made it to 6 or 7 houses. It was cute to see him in his costume and see how excited he got looking through his loot once we got back to my moms.

21 weeks! Its a......

 

21 weeks!!

Ultrasound edition!

- How far along? 21 weeks.

- How big is baby? The size of a pomegranate.

- Total weight gain/loss? -3lbs same as last week, no change in weight.

- Maternity clothes? Of course!

- Gender? Are you ready for this?!? it’s a……GIRL!

- Movement? LOTS! SHE sure is active, the radiology tech had a heck of a time getting super clear photos because SHE was moving so much. I cant blame HER, I have a hard time sitting in one place for too long as well.

- Sleep? Not much these days. I’m exhausted but some pregnancy insomnia is kicking in.

- Cravings/aversions? Mexican food and sushi! Chris took me out for sushi today to celebrate finding out the gender of our sweet baby, I just made sure to order cooked rolls and held the fish eggs. Amazing! I’m ready for another roll!

- Symptoms? STILL nauseous with smells. Vomiting here and there. Insomnia. Lower back discomfort.

- Things that happened this week? We found out we were having a GIRL and did lots of shopping for HER!

　

- The differences between my pregnancies: Last time was a boy, this time it’s a GIRL. We are on cloud 9, can’t wait to meet my precious baby GIRL!

20 weeks!

 

 

20 weeks!!

- How far along? 20 weeks.

- How big is baby? The size of a banana.

- Total weight gain/loss? -3lbs slowly gaining.

- Maternity clothes? Yes! Wearing a new sweater as I type this!

- Gender? Not sure just yet. Next week!!

- Movement? LOTS! This little baby is already an athlete!

- Sleep? Doing okay, quantity isn’t much but quality is getting better. Just wish my hips would stop tingling and my hands wouldn’t fall asleep.

- Cravings/aversions? Nothing major this week. Salsa sounds tasty though!

- Symptoms? STILL nauseous with smells. headaches. Vomiting here and there.

- Things that happened this week? I’ve been going without naps!

　

- The differences between my pregnancies: baby HAS to be a girl, there just nothing similar with these two pregnancies.

- How far along? 19 weeks.

- How big is baby? The size of a mango.

- Total weight gain/loss? -4lbs slowly gaining.

- Maternity clothes? Yes!

- Gender? Not sure just yet.

- Movement? LOTS!

- Sleep? Is it nap time?

- Cravings/aversions? Sushi, I want sushi! Please?

- Symptoms? STILL nauseous with smells. headaches. Vomiting here and there.

- Things that happened this week? Movements are getting so much stronger, pretty sure I’m learning the difference between punches and kicks.

　

- The differences between my pregnancies: They have been night and day, wonder if that’s an indicator that it’s a girl?!? Two weeks and we find out what's cooking. Yay!

18 weeks!

 

18 weeks!!

- How far along? 18 weeks.

- How big is baby? The size of a bell pepper.

- Total weight gain/loss? -5.5lbs slowly gaining what I lost in the first 14 weeks.

- Maternity clothes? Yes! Like my new maternity shirt and matching scarf?

- Gender? Not sure just yet.

- Movement? TONS and their getting stronger.

- Sleep? Still loving my naps!

- Cravings/aversions? Meat! Beef jerky, steak, chicken, pork I just want meat. Good protein! Sparkling water.

- Symptoms? Some vomiting, still nauseous but mostly just with smells (like every single poopy diaper change), headaches.

- Things that happened this week? Got some new maternity clothes and a few gender neutral items for baby! Chris is out of town on a business trip, its hard being a "single mom" of a toddler, working full time, managing the house and all while pregnant.

　

- The differences between my pregnancies: Being sick, not wanting or having much of an appetite. With Marcus my breasts were more sore, I couldn’t even let the water from the shower hit them. I had terrible gas with Marcus and a lot less movements.

17 weeks!

17 weeks!!

- How far along? 17 weeks.

- How big is baby? The size of an onion.

- Total weight gain/loss? -6lbs, starting to feel better, some what!

- Maternity clothes? Yes! Flowy tops, maternity pants too! My normal jeans were still working (with the rubber band trick) but I was getting too uncomfortable.

- Gender? Not sure just yet.

- Movement? More frequent butterfly sensations.

- Sleep? Still tired, but getting better. I LOVE naps!

- Cravings/aversions? Meat! Beef jerky, steak, chicken, pork I just want meat. Good protein!

- Symptoms? Some vomiting, still nauseous but mostly just with smells, headaches, exhaustion and sore breasts.

- Things that happened this week? The movement sensations are becoming more regular and I was able to eat some decent meals (and keep them down!).



- The differences between my pregnancies: Being sick, not wanting or having much of an appetite. With Marcus my breasts were more sore, I couldn’t even let the water from the shower hit them. I had terrible gas with Marcus and a lot less movements.
