Our little "Starfish"!

Marcus has officially completed swim lessons. Our little man loves the water and really enjoyed this experience (minus the chilly mornings we were having). I had enrolled us in the mommy and me swim class "starfish" through Sunrise rec and park district with Kathleen, her daughter Ava and our friend Kaylee with her son Jackson. Marcus learned front/back floats, climbing out of the pool, going under water, flipping front to back, using a board to swim and blowing bubbles. Here are some super adorable photos from the last two weeks.

This last photo is of marcus on his last day with his "report card". We love him!

10 months!

Can you believe its just two months shy of Marcus turning 1?!? Where has the time gone? My little baby is a big boy now! Marcus has had many accomplishments this month, his diet has tripled, he’s eating all sorts of different foods here are his favorites:

Pirates booty

gold fish

whole grain cheerios

ravioli

peaches

Mac and cheese

He’s walking and getting up from a sitting position on his own, we have also noticed that things keep his attention for longer spans of times. He’s constantly busy and into something, he is always so kind enough to show me what I have forgot to baby-proof. Silly baby!

Marcus has an appointment this week with his new pediatrician so I’ll be sure to blog his new stats once we have them.

Father's Day 2012

Fathers day was special in more ways then one this year. First off, it was Chris's first fathers day as a dad and we went to Oakland for little mans first official A's game, naturally Marcus slept most of the game. The drive to Oakland wasn't much fun, Marcus was not thrilled with the length of time he was stuck in his car seat, his fussiness made for some cute photos though! I of course forgot our camera on the way out the door so the photos aren't the best quality, but you get the idea.

My Dad, his girlfriend Terry and my Godfather also joined us for the game. We decided this was a tradition we will be keeping, Fathers day at the ballpark.We are already looking forward to next year.

To celebrate the occasion, mom, my beautiful Grandma, Uncle Herk, Auntie Kim, friend Sue, Chris, Marcus and I went to Red Lobster for a delicious dinner. It was a fabulous evening!

P.S. Marcus LOVES Red Lobsters dinner rolls!
