Ella Sophia Galloway

Ella is finally here and she is absolutely perfect. Kathleen went into labor a week ago tonight and roughly around 3am I was in my car and on the way to Kaiser to witness/photograph this precious baby girls grand entrance. Kathleen is super woman, she makes things look so easy; photography, caramel apples and childbirth (just to name a few). Kathleen went from 4cm-to 10 (fully dilated) in 3.5ish hours and pushed for maybe 15 minutes? Ella came out and it was love at first sight for everyone in the room. She's perfection!

1st haircut

 

1 week exactly before little mans 1st birthday we took him for his first official haircut. Originally I had planned to allow is hair to grow into a super cute little bowl cut (much like Chris had as a toddler) but his hair was constantly in his eyes so I figured it was time. Marcus was amazing during his appointment. He sat on my lap with a super cute little cape on and my good friend Stefanie did the honors with the cut. He is so handsome and I think this new cut makes him look so grown up.

Ribbons, bows, pearls and curls galore....

A couple weekends ago I had the honor of co-hosting a baby sprinkle for my best friend, Kathleen! Months of preparation went into this very special day. We had a delicious brunch, the room was filled of all things pink, shimmery grey and chevron print, the company was perfect and the atmosphere was full of happiness for the upcoming addition of this sweet baby girl. Kathleen has been such an amazing friend and support system that this was the least I could do to show my appreciation for her. Baby girl should be here any day and I'm beyond excited to meet her!

-Fun fact! I was with Kathleen when she found out she was pregnant, not only was I there but I was the one that read the digital test and told her the amazing news....well not so much "told" I more like shouted, clapped my hands, jumped up and down and began to cry. Haha! I'll never forget that moment.

Happy Birthday Grandma!

Last Month my BEAUTIFUL grandmother celebrated a very big birthday (its never polite to share or ask a woman's age so that "big birthday" number will be withheld...he he!) To celebrate her the family got together and had a BBQ. This BBQ was also to honor the recent engagement of my cousin Sarah and her new husband, David. The evening was perfect, the food was delicious and the company was priceless! Here are a few photos from the evening.

As a gift the family came together and created this photo book of various blankets, quilt, dolls, hand towels ect. that grandma had made for us over the years. She was amazed and so in love with the book! Perfect idea, Aunt Sandy!
