Going, going…GONE!

My contractions that is. I’ve been experiencing contractions on and off for the last couple days, they are pretty random and once that start to somewhat form a pattern they just stop! Talk about annoying. I’m the type of person that hates anticipation specially when it comes to something that is going to be uncomfortable and or means I’ll be in pain. I would rather get to the point and face the labor and delivery now instead of later, but I know I’m on his schedule. I am currently 10 days from our due date, 10 DAYS!! Can you believe that?!?! Where has the time gone? With each day I get more and more excited, every morning when I wake up the first thing I think is “is today going to be the day?”.

I must apologize for slacking on the belly bump photos, I’m 38 wks and 5 days but have no photo to show for it, nor do I have a photo from week 37. I’ve been so uncomfortable and so drained that most days I’m in a pair of Chris’s boxers and an over sized t-shirt, I haven’t put make up on in at least two weeks! These days just take a shower is enough to drain me..Ha ha! I typically get out of my pj’s long enough to shower and then I put them back on.

I have the most amazing husband, for millions of reasons! I have been so blessed to have him during this pregnancy, he always makes sure I am happy and healthy, he hasn’t missed an appointment and always makes sure I am taking care of. Speaking of “taken care of”…money is pretty tight these days with me being laid off and all the new expenses coming up with Marcus on the way, but Chris felt it was necessary that I have some “me” time even if that meant spending $30 (money we really don’t have) for this mommy to be to have an hour of pampering. On Friday I had a fabulous pedicure, I was so spoiled for so long and use to get monthly pedis but when we got the most wonderful news that a baby was on the way I decided to cut them out to save money for necessities. I always paint my toes in hues of purple or pink and this time around I figured I would change things up and do something in honor of our baby boy! Baby blue with white polka dots! What do you think?

(Not the best photo, I had to zoom all the way in because I really cant bend over at the point)

I love them and I’m sure ill really appreciate having something pretty to look at while pushing..He he. Thanks hubby! Love you!

Anyways folks we are days away, who knows my next post just might be me introducing our little man!

Love,

Chris and Katie
